Seattle, Washington
Anthony’s pier 66 & Bell street diner
We loved Anthony’s Pier for multiple reasons. Not only was it a perfect choice for indulging in fine local cuisine, but it was also located right on Seattle’s Pier 66 that offered an amazing view of the bay and city including Seattle’s famous Ferris Wheel. The restaurant has great seafood options and is fairly budget-friendly despite being located at Seattle downtown!
What’s good over here? They have an excellent seafood menu at affordable rates
location: 2201 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA 98121

The Alibi Room
The phrase ‘Looks can be deceiving’ could be used to perfectly describe The Alibi Room – a small pizzeria/bar located in Post Alley amidst the Great Gum wall of Seattle. The closed entrance of this bar which can look quite ‘shady’ actually opens into a crowded area with small tables with people munching on pizza. What makes this place more interesting is its history about a ghost named Frank who is known to hang out near the men’s bathroom area and disappearing shortly after. To confirm we even asked our waiter – who said lots of people have heard sounds and seen reflections (was he kidding?) Although we didn’t see anything sketchy, we can’t rule out the daunting aura that surrounded the restaurant as well as the Post Alley – which has been claimed to be haunted by many!
What’s good over here? They serve some delicious pizzas
Location: 85 Pike St, Seattle, WA 98101 (located in the Gum wall street as can be pictured below)

Estes park, Colorado
Coffee on the Rocks
If you’re interested in trying out some fresh brewed coffee while sitting by a beautiful pond then this is the place you need to be. During our trip to Estes park, we stopped by Coffee on the rocks and boy did we like it. The café has a diverse menu and also has a beautiful pond right outside with super cute ducks all over the place. If you’d like to feed the birds, the café sells some corn for a dollar.
What’s good over here?: Their coffee latte and dirty chai are pretty good but they also have a variety of teas, smoothies and a bar menu as well.
Location: 510 Moraine Ave, Estes Park, CO 80517
Side note: there are a bunch of cabins close to the café, so if you’re planning on staying in Estes over-night, you should be able to find some accommodation over there (we did!).
Nepal’s café
During our trip, we tried out Nepal’s café located in Estes downtown. If you’re a lover of Indian, Nepali or Pakistani cuisine, you won’t be disappointed. They serve amazing fish curry and hot chai – both ideal food options in the mountains. They weren’t offering dine in as an option when we traveled over there back in June 2020. However, during our re-visit in September 2020, they opened up the restaurant to dine in! If you’re thinking of some good food options to try out while in Estes, we highly recommend Nepal’s café.
What’s good over here? Definitely recommend fish curry with rice and hot chai! Their mango lassi is amazing too
Location: 184 E Elkhorn Ave, Estes Park, CO 80517
